Warmish Web is an open-source, client-side tool for processing radiometric thermal images produced by FLIR cameras directly in the browser, with no upload and no server-side processing. It is a static rewrite of the desktop application Warmish, designed to run on any operating system without ExifTool or Perl, whose absence breaks the desktop build on other machines. The software parses the FLIR metadata segment of each image and recovers surface temperatures by inverting the Planck radiation equation, using the camera’s calibration constants. It renders the thermal frame with selectable palettes and scales, overlays the visible-light image with blend modes and manual alignment, and supports rectangular, spot and polygonal regions of interest with per-region statistics. Batch processing runs in a web worker and exports a zip archive with per-image outputs, a CSV table of areas and a JSON manifest. Additional features include automatic correction of EXIF orientation, GPS-based map views and a guided tour with video export, automatic scene and area labelling, and an Italian and English interface. The numerical core is validated against the original desktop engine on a set of reference images. All image processing stays on the user’s device; the optional map view and scene detection contact external services only after explicit user consent. Released under the GNU GPL v3 or later and archived on Zenodo.
