Abstract

Since the beginning, the School of Architecture and Design of University of Camerino (Saad Unicam), has studied the themes of the Adriatic city seeking a scientific approach capable of describing the relationships between the forms of dispersion and the territory. A scientific method able to identify the main general elements of the urban morphology in a transversal way through all the physical scales of inhabiting. A further field of investigation was dealt through the comparison with the various declinations of existing (disposal, unfinished, heritage, landscapes of destruction). The theme of urban morphology explored a principle of relationship between elements not linked to an idea of continuity, but looking at the control of the disunited form, the discontinuity, and of the dissonance.
