The authors describe a case of cutaneous lymphomatoid granulomatosis in a 6-year-old, female dog. The dog presented a subcutaneous nodular lesion close to mammary gland. Histopathologic examination revealed a mixed population of atypical lymphoid cells that had an angiocentric and angioinvasive pattern. The lymphocitic infiltrate was accompanied by variable numbers of plasma cells, macrophages and esosinophils. Immunohistochemical examination demonstrated variable CD3 and CD79a expression by the atypical cell population indicative of the presence of phenotypic T and B cells. In conclusion canine cutaneous LYG in this dog was both associated with B and T cells and it was in some instances immunophenotypically similar to human LYG. This finding differs from the current histological classification of tumors of domestic animals (WHO)
