The relationship between man and nature is at the center of a renewed theoretical and design reflection. In ancient times the relationship between humans and plant species was highly dependent: man evolved with plants, essential components of the entire ecosystem. With modernity this symbiotic relationship has weakened, becoming conflictual with negative effects on the inhabited environment. Recent scientific and humanistic studies have restored centrality to the topic and offered food for thought to imagine new forms of coexistence between man and nature. Within a broad debate on climate change and the sustainability of cities, the workshop intends to focus attention on the "production of plants", an essential construction material in the desired regeneration processes of anthropized territories.

Abstract
The relationship between man and nature is at the center of a renewed theoretical and design reflection. In ancient times the relationship between humans and plant species was highly dependent: man evolved with plants, essential components of the entire ecosystem. With modernity this symbiotic relationship has weakened, becoming conflictual with negative effects on the inhabited environment. Recent scientific and humanistic studies have restored centrality to the topic and offered food for thought to imagine new forms of coexistence between man and nature. Within a broad debate on climate change and the sustainability of cities, the workshop intends to focus attention on the "production of plants", an essential construction material in the desired regeneration processes of anthropized territories.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
