The pj CB STRATEGY FOR INLAND AREAS and the related ACTION PLAN work primarily on environmental/cultural continuity between the coastal and inland areas in terms of connections and integrated destination manag. to define the actions for the improvement of physical/virtual accessibility of hinterlands through the provision of innovative services. The pj produces N.1 ONE STOP INFORMATION CENTRES and n.2 VIRTUAL ECO-MUSEUMS systems for the improvement of the accessibility to 3 natural/cultural heritage destinations: Chienti (Marche), Fortore (Molise), San Leo (Emilia Romagna) areas. The first ones are conceived as physical location, enriched with ICT solutions, placed in strategical locations to intercept the touristic flows toward coastal areas and provide all the services needed to access inland destinations. The second ones aggregate the best smart tourism solutions to address the digital tourism market while improving the virtual accessibility of inland cultural/natural assets.
