- definition of an outline of training courses on risks from natural disasters (Action C8). The N2K sites located within "the Seismic Crater" are 27. They extend on a total surface of around 47500 HA, the 34 % of the "the Seismic Crater" of the Umbria Region. The “Crater community model” provides a set of conservation activities (C9-C20) and guarantees their implementation and effectiveness because these are the results of a participatory process involving local subjects. Furthermore, the envisaged measures and activities will not be regulatory but will have a pro-active character that cannot be far from the will and expectation of local actors (i.e., landowners, farmers, etc…). This model represents a completion and enrichment of the National Strategy for Internal Areas. The correct synergy is guaranteed by the presence in the office dealing and managing projects in these areas of the Regional service coordinating the IP. Some pillars of the SNAI are relevant for the Crater Community (education, essential services, digital divide, accessibility and sustainable mobility, and local development projects related to them, ecc…) because both are aimed at fighting depopulation and increase quality of life of inhabitants. SNAI may provide content to the Crater Community and can be made aware of issues relating to N2K network. For these reasons, it’s crucial to establish an interaction between ongoing processes and projects, which will necessarily be oriented towards a higher sensitivity for the conservation and strengthening of N2K network.
