Notazioni sul discorso inaugurale dell’anno accademico 1899-900, letto nell’Aula Magna della Libera Università di Camerino “Dell’influenza del pensiero filosofico sulla legislazione e sulla vita sociale”

This paper introduces the topics that were debated in the inaugural speech of the Academic Year 1899-900 at the Libera Università degli studi di Camerino, identifying the narrative thread of the reflection concerning the influence of the philosophical thought about the regulation and the social life. In particular, some of the modalities of development of this influence are pointed out: the one concerning to the formulation of typical methods of the legal science; the one concerning the formulation of ideas that support the statement of legal principles; the one concerning the creation of new areas of law and regulation. Through these routes is reached the high point of the agreement of the philosophical path with the political and the legal one, characterized by the constitutional moment, arriving in the end to the phase of growing disaffection and distrust to the philosophical thought: the risks of these elements are highlighted under a legal perspective.
