Herein, we report a new and stereoselective conversion of β-nitro-β,γ-unsaturated ketones into conjugated dienones, a versatile class of electron-poor alkenes, widely exploited in organic synthesis as source of highly functionalized molecules. Products were isolated in good yields and the method tolerates a variety of functionalities.
