The Italian Health System has been stressed by Covid-19. The epidemic disease has highlighted that a patient-centered health care is not the best system for facing the Covid-19 outbreaks. The shift from a patient-centered health care to a community-centred health care, as proposed by Authors, would need changing Italian people perspective of health care and rebuilding the regional governance of health system, the Italian law and liability. The current brief paper focus on these issues.

Abstract

The Italian Health System has been stressed by Covid-19. The epidemic disease has highlighted that a patient-centered health care is not the best system for facing the Covid-19 outbreaks. The shift from a patient-centered health care to a community-centred health care, as proposed by Authors, would need changing Italian people perspective of health care and rebuilding the regional governance of health system, the Italian law and liability. The current brief paper focus on these issues.
