Ultrasound biomicroscopy (UBM) is a ultrasound diagnostic method recently introduced in veterinary ophthalmology. The UBM, because of high frequency (48-50Mhz) transducer, allows a detailed view of the structures of anterior Chambre and especially the irido-corneal angle. In this thesis, UBM assessment was performer in anterior chambre of feline healthy eyes. The main purpose of the study was to identify the normal parameters as a potential comparison for diagnosis of disease. The pathology that have the greatest indication for the execution of UBM is the primary open angle glaucoma (POAG).
