Un tumore a cellule giganti dell’osso del gatto

SUMMARY: Pathological studies were performed on a case of bone tumor in a 7 year-old domestic shorthair female cat. Clinically, thè mass involved thè shinbone and ulcerated outside. The histological findings are consistent with a Giant Celi Tumour of bone, a rare prirnary neoplasm in thè cat. It was charactenzed by multinucleated giant cells with slight defined borders. Therefore, this tumor should be considered among thè difFerential diagnoses of a number of mass diseases of bone such as giant celi reparative granuloma and giant celi osteosarcoma.
