The construction of Ascoli Piceno has a close connection with the presence of the two rivers (Tronto and Castellano) that surround it. They represented over the centuries a natural protection and an important water reserve for industrial production and transportation of building materials. Abstract

The construction of Ascoli Piceno has a close connection with the presence of the two rivers (Tronto and Castellano) that surround it.
