This work consist of a prospective analysis of all dogs suffering from shoulder disorders and received at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital from January 2009 to June 2010. The aim of the study was to evaluate benefits and disadvantages of using shoulder arthroscopy in diagnosis an treatment of diseases of this joint. Resulting data were compared with those reported in the literature. This work is an abstract of the degree thesis of the first author.
