The AA. have studied the relationships of total hardness and magnesium content in drinking water to cardiovascular diseases (390-458) and ischaemic heart disease mortality (410-414) in the Marche region. The correlation total hardness magnesium content and ischaemic heart disease mortality has not proved to be statistically significant. A significant difference statistically confirmed exists only for cardiovascular diseases mortality between two groups of municipalities supplied by drinking water of total hardness below 201 mg/l and over 400 mg/l.

Abstract
The AA. have studied the relationships of total hardness and magnesium content in drinking water to cardiovascular diseases (390-458) and ischaemic heart disease mortality (410-414) in the Marche region. The correlation total hardness magnesium content and ischaemic heart disease mortality has not proved to be statistically significant. A significant difference statistically confirmed exists only for cardiovascular diseases mortality between two groups of municipalities supplied by drinking water of total hardness below 201 mg/l and over 400 mg/l.File in questo prodotto:
