The Authors desribed the anatomohistopathological and histochemical characteristics of a chondrosarcoma of considerable dimension; it was extending from the right suprascapular cartilage and involving a large portion of the scapula in a Massese sheep. At gross and microscopic examination the neoplasia appeared compact, finely lobulated with bluish-white coloration. Neoplastic metastasis were found in the parietal and visceral pleurae and in the lung. Among tumors that can affect sheep and goat chondrosarcoma confirms a growing significance of neoplastic pathology.

Abstract
The Authors desribed the anatomohistopathological and histochemical characteristics of a chondrosarcoma of considerable dimension; it was extending from the right suprascapular cartilage and involving a large portion of the scapula in a Massese sheep. At gross and microscopic examination the neoplasia appeared compact, finely lobulated with bluish-white coloration. Neoplastic metastasis were found in the parietal and visceral pleurae and in the lung. Among tumors that can affect sheep and goat chondrosarcoma confirms a growing significance of neoplastic pathology.File in questo prodotto:
