A new association called Festuco dimorphae-Geranietum macrorrhizi belonging to Linario-Festucion dimorphae is described in the Mainarde Mounts (Molise-Lazio). It is a vegetal community of the calcareous screes made by big clastes. The new association shows some ecological and floristic affinities with other similar associations described in some mountains of Eastern and Southern Europe.
