A case of PCB poisoning in a pig fattening farm which presented a marked weight gain reduction is reported. Laboratory analysis of the blood showed an increase in GPT and GOT along with globuline protein modifications. Toxicological investigation revealed the presence of PCB in the liver of five fatal cases and in the drinking water. Eliminating the cause of intoxication brought about a regression of the symptoms and a normalization of the laboratory parameters.
