The considered pteridolagical fl ora is constituted by 2 very common taxa (CC), 22 common taxa (C), 8 less common taxa (LC), 3 rare taxa (R), 7 very rare taxa (RR) and 6 taxa reported as doubtful (D). Moreover, 8 taxa are not recently confi rmed (NC), 2 are extincted (EX) and 3 are counted out (NP) of the regional pteridological fl ora. The Fucino alluvional plain and the hill and rural sectors of the Pescara and Chieti provinces have been reported as geographical lacks of pteridological knowledges.
