Using the records fi led in the database of the vascular fl ora of Abruzzo, we have advanced and updated the distributional data of the pteridological fl ora. With the aim to provide useful aspects for the planning and management of the regional diversity, a complete list of 61 taxa, including an additional list of all the accounted records and distributional maps of the pteridological knowledge, has been presented. The considered pteridolagical fl ora is constituted by 2 very common taxa (CC), 22 common taxa (C), 8 less common taxa (LC), 3 rare taxa (R), 7 very rare taxa (RR) and 6 taxa reported as doubtful (D). Moreover, 8 taxa are not recently confi rmed (NC), 2 are extincted (EX) and 3 are counted out (NP) of the regional pteridological fl ora. The Fucino alluvional plain and the hill and rural sectors of the Pescara and Chieti provinces have been reported as geographical lacks of pteridological knowledges. Instead, Laga Mountains have been evaluated as regional pteridological high-interest site, due to the presence of an high percentage of rare and very rare pteridological taxa.

Abstract
Instead, Laga Mountains have been evaluated as regional pteridological high-interest site, due to the presence of an high percentage of rare and very rare pteridological taxa.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
