The histology of the cell cycle has been recently reviewed and although it has been demonstrated that biochemical approaches have enhanced our understanding of this process, histochemical studies using modern experimental methods can be regarded as valid complementary tools to understand and visualize the cell cycle phases. Therefore, to better detect the right mitotic figures and interface stages of Py1a cells, we suggest the use of PNA conjugated to fluorochromes which seems to be a more reliable nuclear marker than other staining methods.

Abstract
The histology of the cell cycle has been recently reviewed and although it has been demonstrated that biochemical approaches have enhanced our understanding of this process, histochemical studies using modern experimental methods can be regarded as valid complementary tools to understand and visualize the cell cycle phases. Therefore, to better detect the right mitotic figures and interface stages of Py1a cells, we suggest the use of PNA conjugated to fluorochromes which seems to be a more reliable nuclear marker than other staining methods.File in questo prodotto:
