The project aims at the development of an individual passive protection system for femur fracture. The product designed has been designed to allow the user daily and daily use for the home and outdoors. It is characterized by the small size of the airbag that makes it invisible once worn and by the immediacy and simplicity of the construction of the product, which allow it to be easily put on and maintained. We tried to develop a prototype that was designed above all at the level of psychological impact, so as not to be perceived as an impactful medical aid, like the current ones that exist on the market, in order to allow users suffering from osteoporosis not to feel “sick”, and to be able to enjoy a new safety in movement, who, although suffering from this pathology, guarantees a high quality of life, feeling protected by an “invisible” product.

Abstract
The project aims at the development of an individual passive protection system for femur fracture. The product designed has been designed to allow the user daily and daily use for the home and outdoors. It is characterized by the small size of the airbag that makes it invisible once worn and by the immediacy and simplicity of the construction of the product, which allow it to be easily put on and maintained. We tried to develop a prototype that was designed above all at the level of psychological impact, so as not to be perceived as an impactful medical aid, like the current ones that exist on the market, in order to allow users suffering from osteoporosis not to feel “sick”, and to be able to enjoy a new safety in movement, who, although suffering from this pathology, guarantees a high quality of life, feeling protected by an “invisible” product.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
