Fiumefreddo Bruzio, an ancient hilltop village above the Tyrrhenian Sea, traces its roots back to the Roman era but takes on its distinctive medieval structure with narrow alleyways, ancient palaces, and imposing walls. The city has attracted the artist Salvatore Fiume, whose connection with the village has led to a series of artistic creations that enrich the community’s heritage. His works reflect the unique synergy established between the artist and the place, which is an integral part of the city’s cultural and historical identity, celebrated and commemorated by the community. The heritage of the village, rich despite being contained within small spaces, and the works of the artist, are only partially documented. With these assumptions, the research presents a project for the digitization of the village and Salvatore Fiume’s works based on integrated models (3D and 2D) derived from survey operations. Collected within the Fiume’s Flow platform, they constitute, on one hand, a valuable support for conservation, management, monitoring, and repair activities, and on the other hand, as an educational resource for scholars and the general public.

Abstract
Collected within the Fiume’s Flow platform, they constitute, on one hand, a valuable support for conservation, management, monitoring, and repair activities, and on the other hand, as an educational resource for scholars and the general public.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
