Metodi di datazione per lo studio delle murature in laterizio: stato delle ricerche per l’area picena / Chronological methods for the study of brick walls: state of research for the Piceno area

Among the methods, the mensiochronology based on the measures of the elements that make up a masonry, allows to evaluate the evolution of construction techniques. To understand the relevance of the method, it is necessary to refer to a specific geographical areas, in a well-defined chronological period. Here, we want to deepen the search for a homogeneous area, characterized by small fortified centers of medieval origin, located in the left side of the lower Tronto valley (Marche Region).
