Abstract
The use of the inaccessible or non-existent spaces, is no longer considered an unfeasible operation, but currently a concretely possible presupposition through new representative formulas, devices and applications in contemporary specialized to exact reproduction of information related to real architectural projects, necessary to identify these in a separate plane of materiality. Forms part of the debate on the strategies to follow to expand the use of digital templates for the reuse and the exploitation of space, we analyze new systems and applications. The research in question focuses on the study and the use of virtual devices as an alternative resolution relative to reconversion of buildings and, more generally, of spaces affected by various critical problems. In this regard, the case study refers to the redevelopment of an abandoned structure for several years, the FERRHOTEL near the Pescara station, for which proposals are some virtual conversion solutions of the building, demonstrating how the virtual re-use is a tool with great potential in terms of investigation and intervention on the reality of the contemporary city.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
