The paper investigates the cut-and-paste technique for setting up architectural perspectives where photographic fragments are repositioned on a ground (analog or digital) as basic figures and essential citations available for the design process. The main issue is to suggest different acceptances of montage in architectural representation, from the first appearance during the Modernism to the kaleidoscope of contemporary applications, enlightening its inborn calling to citations.
