Ricostruire la cultura dei luoghi attraverso l’architettura dei luoghi

The contribution wants to focus on aspects related to the reconstruction and then on the HOW to build after the most interesting villages and cities of the Marche of Abruzzo have suffered widespread destruction due to the earthquake. One of the great diatribes of the reconstruction concerns the structural and technological themes. The focus is the theme of the house and even more to the reconstruction of new buildings in the historic centres (or in the immediate vicinity) and in rural areas, where the recommendations for the protection of tradition are very strong. The challenge today is indeed to rebuild the fabrics and not just the individual buildings; while for the isolated and rural houses it is about giving new opportunities for transformation and use of the countryside to avoid depopulation. They must therefore be identified also from the point of view of the "HOW to build", those dynamics between permanence and temporality that has always characterized the rural buildings, differentiating residential volumes from the utilitarian ones (greenhouses, agricultural sheds, sales premises, etc.) also offering the latter an architectural dignity as well as a greater economic role.
