According to the World Health Organization (WHO), obesity is one of the most health problems and represent a strong risk factor for chronic diseases, including diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, cancers and other potentially serios comorbidity. The aim of the study was to assess, in a rat model of diet-induced obesity, the effects of daily probiotic on gut microbiota and on mood disorders, such as anxiety and depression.

Abstract
