La complessità dei video giochi riguarda anche l’ideazione di quegli espedienti grafici posti in essere a fini comunicativi delle dinamiche del gioco. Rispetto a tale campo l’interesse degli studi ha quindi focalizzato l’attenzione sul tema della comunicazione visuale nell’ambito della moderna grafica videoludica cercando di indagare le diverse forme espressive.
