Abstract
The classical treatment of the water flow in the unsaturated porous medium is represented by Richards equation. In order to obtain an approximation of the solution, the problem has been treated numerically by applying the finite differences method and obtaining a non-linear system of equations where the uniqueness of the solution is ensured by Neumann boundary condition. The resolution of the system is carried out by combining Euler explicit method with Crank-Nicolson method.File in questo prodotto:
