The paper focuses on the relation between art and architecture in contemporary times. Through graphic analysis of some works of art realized by those artists who reflected on space and human behaviors connected to space itself, possible strategies for architecture are traced. A conspicuous number of artists focused their interests on architecture; some of them realized actual public architectures around the world. From the 60’s to nowadays, examining experiences in Italy, Spain, Denmark, as well as in China, USA, etc., many examples of works of art definable as “buildings” was examined. These works have been redrawn for the main task of a didactic studio, with the specific aim of experimenting a graphic method of analysis to illustrate: 1- the concept; 2 - technical and construction aspects; 3- user’s perception and interactions. Scale model are essential instrument to understand and visualize three-dimensional projects; to be exhaustive, the inspected methodology can’t disregard the importance of the architectural maquette. This collection of examples is obviously in progress and always updatable. Ergo, the objective is also to plan a critical archive for the documentation of those graphic analyses on existent and future works of art detected by diverse research experiences on art and its role on theory and practice of architecture.

Abstract
Ergo, the objective is also to plan a critical archive for the documentation of those graphic analyses on existent and future works of art detected by diverse research experiences on art and its role on theory and practice of architecture.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
