Abstract
In this lecture we review quantum information processing with single trapped electrons in a Penning trap: from the theoretical proposals to the first experimental attempts to trap and detect a single particle. We discuss the potential advantages as well as the open challenges of this alternative approach to quantum computation.File in questo prodotto:
