Abstract
In this chapter the importance of, and problems connected to, the distinction between product and process innovation is analysed on a conceptual ground, surveying previous contributions and using data provided by the U.K. SPRU database. The main message of this study is that the terms “product innovation” and “process innovation” are not at all self-explanatory, but rather, that several definitions may be proposed, depending upon the methodological approach of the researcher.File in questo prodotto:
