Abstract
We present some recent results about multiplicity for light rays joining an event with an observer by a relativistic version of the Fermat Principle in Classical Optics. Using techniques of global analysis on manifolds and critical points theory we prove the Morse Relations for such light rays under nondegenracy assumptions. The mathematical formalism developed can be used as a model to describe the gtavitational lensing effect.File in questo prodotto:
