Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) were maintained at different temperatures for different time periods to simulate the phase of transport before their clinical use. Subsequently, MSCs were subjected to the following trials: cell viability, duplication time, Colony-Forming Unit Assay, adipogenic and osteogenic differentiation, immunophenotype, karyotype evaluation. The obtained results seem to suggest that the tested maintenance conditions are unable to induce appeciable modifications on MSCs behaviour and that the ceels can be considered safe for clinical applications.

Abstract
Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) were maintained at different temperatures for different time periods to simulate the phase of transport before their clinical use. Subsequently, MSCs were subjected to the following trials: cell viability, duplication time, Colony-Forming Unit Assay, adipogenic and osteogenic differentiation, immunophenotype, karyotype evaluation. The obtained results seem to suggest that the tested maintenance conditions are unable to induce appeciable modifications on MSCs behaviour and that the ceels can be considered safe for clinical applications.File in questo prodotto:
