Nowadays, information must be shared for exploiting knowledge in an effective and efficient way. A domain-aware semantic search engine is a valid support to improve the sharing of knowledge and have a high impact on public administrations where documents play a relevant role. In this paper we present a domain-aware semantic search engine for PA documents - named E@syFinder. We introduce a customized solution suitable for PA characteristics in line with authorization policies on documents. Our system is able to perform user queries based on an authorization levels given inside the organization where the documents belong. E@syFinder is supported by a pseudo-P2P architecture that ensures scalability in an environment where a set of peers collaborate sharing documents.

Abstract
Nowadays, information must be shared for exploiting knowledge in an effective and efficient way. A domain-aware semantic search engine is a valid support to improve the sharing of knowledge and have a high impact on public administrations where documents play a relevant role. In this paper we present a domain-aware semantic search engine for PA documents - named E@syFinder. We introduce a customized solution suitable for PA characteristics in line with authorization policies on documents. Our system is able to perform user queries based on an authorization levels given inside the organization where the documents belong. E@syFinder is supported by a pseudo-P2P architecture that ensures scalability in an environment where a set of peers collaborate sharing documents.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
