MODEL REGIONS IN COMPARISON Elements of general and regional statistics are presented to allow a quick comparison of the model Regions. The order follow the same scheme used for the description of the model Regions, i.e. background information, brief description, landscape and component of the mobility system. A further paragraph is added to complete the data collection with some specific indicators regarding the transport system. These data that come from Eurostat are grouped at the NUTS 2 level, so can not be considered accurate for the description of the model Regions, but are anyway helpful for the general understanding and the comparison.
