Aspects of mineralization referring to presence of nitrates and fluorides in drinking waters of some belts of Padana Plain.

The Authors have considered the trend of nitrates of the aqueducts of a large band of Padana Plain in order to extend and to probe the problematic of the increase of nitrates in the ground-waters. This belt is an important centre of agricultural production whose water supplying is fundamentally supported by waters-wells. Contrary to all expectations, especially as regards Provinces of Mantova and Cremona wich show vast level and intensely cultivated axtends, found values turn out for by CEE and by Ministry of Helath. In the considered area, the high intake of nitric fertilizers in surface doesn't seem therefore to influence sensibly the amount of nitrates in the gorund-waters, probably in consequence of determinant actions effected also by other factors such as depth of wells, geochemistry structure of ground, type of cultivation practised, etc.
